A New York-based artist, Fay Biegun studied fine art at Pratt Institute and design at Parsons School of Design. After a career in design, she is now developing a body of fine art that represents the culmination of a refinement of line, composition, and color. The expression of themes such as psychological conflict and societal and political commentary carry the underlying message of the universality of the human story. Using the motifs of the hero myth and of the cataclysmic occurrences on earth, the artist emerges as a shaman, a manifestation of the spiritual interpreting cosmic energy with visual patterns of light and symbolic imagery.
